Dollar Bill Animation TV Spots
We worked with Tobacco Free Nebraska’s ad agency Snitily Carr to create two fun, 30-second, stop-motion animated videos. Please note the wonderful graduation cap in “The Cost of Tobacco 1” is Sy Chen’s “Mortarboard” model. Other models are by Masaya Honda and Linda Stephen. Linda did the folding for the camera.

Did you know that a pack-a-day smoker spends more than $1,700 dollars a year on cigarettes?
Through origami, we show positive, alternative ways to spend that money.
A $5 bill morphs into a car, a palm tree (vacation), a graduation cap (education), a house, a boat (vacation) and, a couple (family).
The “Origami Dollar Bill Couple” is made from approximately 40 different folds. This ad launched in spring 2011 from the Nebraska Health and Human Services’ Tobacco Free Nebraska and will run on TV and in public service announcements for years. Watch for it!
